Pretreatment

Pre-treatment is the combination of process stages that prepare the water for the main treatment phase, which determines the type of water that will be obtained (reverse osmosis, electrodeionisation, ultrafiltration, distillation, etc).

If the pre-treatment is not carried out properly, the final purification stage and thus the achievement of the set quality standards could be compromised.

The aim of the treatment is to control and remove substances that may affect the effectiveness of the final treatment.
